About this project
Lone Wolf Style Guide is a style guide for employees and external stakeholders creating content for Lone Wolf
Technologies, a real estate technology company based in Cambridge, ON.
Process
- Intake: As a team of 5, we met virtually to discuss the project, our milestones and assign
roles. I took on the role of managing the project and sourced Teamwork as a tool to help us manage
milestones and timelines
- Research/Audience Analysis: Explored Lone Wolf's website to understand their product offering,
external content and their customers
- Content Organization: Brainstormed topics we wanted to cover in the style guide
- Draft: Each member of our team was responsible for writing a specific section of the style
guide. We then imported the content into FrameMaker
- Edits: We had an internal editor conduct a substantial edit + production edit
- Finalize: Implemented peer feedback
- Print: Used Adobe Acrobat to prepare the document for printing
Challenges/Takeaways
- Working with so many people on a project was challenging virtually. I believe there is a lot value in
managing a project effectively, setting the right expectations and keeping everyone accountable
- It helped to send out project minutes that included what was discussed in each team meeting, what next
steps/action items were and who was responsible for what line item
- I appreciated my team and how everyone was willing to jump in to help others even if it was outside of
their assigned roles
